HOW Sculptra filler WORKS
Sculptra is a gel-like substance made of poly-L-lactic acid. PLLA is a biostimulator that naturally occurs in your body and is the same material used in dissolvable sutures. It absorbs into your body a few days after treatment to encourage your cells to produce more collagen through a natural regeneration process. Collagen is a protein in your skin that provides structure, support and strength. It works with your body to stimulate collagen production lost to aging, rebuilding and reinforcing your skin’s structural foundation. Through a series of Sculptra treatments, typically about three sessions over a few months, it restores the support and volume of youthful-looking skin.
