Sculptra is a gel-like substance made of poly-L-lactic acid. PLLA is a biostimulator that naturally occurs in your body and is the same material used in dissolvable sutures. It absorbs into your body a few days after treatment to encourage your cells to produce more collagen through a natural regeneration process. Collagen is a protein in your skin that provides structure, support and strength. Avoid excess sunlight or heat unti swelling and redness have resolved, avoid other laser treatments/peels/procedures for 1-2 weeks after. Give yourself facial massages to treated areas for 5 minutes, 5x/day for 5 days to help evenly distribute Sculptra and promote natural looking correction.

Sculptra takes about 3 months to see results and is longer lasting than dermal filler.
You can get Sculptra after dermal filler but you would want to ensure a minimum of 4 weeks in between treatments.
