Many patients also like to have these pictures to look back on after they’ve healed. Once you get used to your new body it’s easy to forget where you started. Those before pictures are a great way to remember how far you’ve come.
We say that the results you see in the before and after pictures are what you will look like after you’ve fully healed. You won’t look like the after pictures right after the procedure. You’ll have swelling, bruising and scars that take time to heal. The swelling goes down slowly over several months and your scars can take up to a year or more to disappear. About 6 months after surgery you should start to see your final results. But some little changes may still happen after that.
